In November we worked on a multiples project, following certain constraints. Students had to fill out the white bubbles with ONLY the numbers 1 and 2. Any 3 consecutive numbers COULD NOT add to a multiple of 3. We defined "multiple" as "The numbers you say when you are skip counting". So, a multiple of 3 would be 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and so on. A multiple of 5 would be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and so on. How many ways can you find to solve the Ring of Threes? There is more than one solution!
